Where can I download Battle Royale?
Do I need an internet connection to play Fortnite?
Yes. A stable internet connection is necessary to play Fortnite.
How can I report another player?
You can use the in-game Feedback tool located in the Main Menu. There is also an option to report a player in-game while spectating them. Please send all player reports to our Player Support team.
How do you handle teamers in solo play?
We've built a system to automatically ban teamers in solo play.
How are you handling cheaters (aimbots, overlays, etc.)?
We take cheating very seriously on both a legal and game development front. We don't want to tip our hand by talking in-depth about how we combat cheating.
Cheaters are permanently banned across Fortnite.
What is the Battle Pass?

Will I keep everything I earned with the Battle Pass after the Season ends?
Yes, you will! Every item earned through the Battle Pass will remain in your inventory permanently. More information on the Battle Pass and its end date can be found here.
What is shared between Battle Royale and Save the World?
V-Bucks, Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Wraps, Emotes, Loading Screens, Banners, and Lobby Music are shared between Battle Royale and Save the World. (Gliders and Contrails are not shared, as these items are not applicable to Save the World.) Note: Over the coming months, Save the World will no longer be able to support all upcoming Fortnite Battle Royale cosmetic purchases, but players' existing library of cosmetics will continue to function in both modes. We'll let everyone know when this change will take place.
Is Fortnite Battle Royale pay-to-win?
No. We do not sell items that give a competitive advantage.
Can I play Battle Royale on PC with a controller?
Yes! We support controller compatibility on PC.
How do I change my preferred language?
- Once in-game, navigate to the drop-down Options menu on the top right of the client.
- Click the gear icon in the Settings.
- Select the Game tab at the top of the screen.
- Confirm your preferred language in the Region section.
- Once you've finished, be sure to apply your changes.

Can I play Fortnite in 120 FPS on PlayStation 5?
Yes! 120 FPS is supported in Fortnite Battle Royale/Creative on PlayStation 5. To play Battle Royale/Creative at 120 FPS on PlayStation 5, enter the Fortnite Video settings and toggle on "120 FPS Mode." In order to achieve a consistent 120 FPS, max resolution on PlayStation 5 is lowered from 4K to 1440p in this mode. Shadow settings, postprocessing, and streaming distances are slightly reduced, but volumetric clouds, physical rim lighting, and high-quality shaders remain enabled. Please note: For the "120 FPS Mode" option to appear in Fortnite on PlayStation 5, please make sure "Performance Mode" is enabled in your console settings (Save Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets > Performance Mode). Players must have a display supporting 120Hz refresh rate to enable 120 FPS Mode. For players who prefer 4K over 120 FPS, please make sure "Performance Mode" isn't enabled in your PlayStation 5 console settings.
Do I need PlayStation Plus to play Fortnite?
No, you do not need PlayStation Plus in order to play Fortnite on PlayStation.

Can I play Fortnite in 120 FPS on Xbox Series X|S?

How can I download Fortnite Creative?

How do I create a new map?
After joining the player hub, walk to your personal rift and press the interact button. Then choose "Create New Island."
How does Island memory work?
Islands have a maximum memory limit of 100k. Each asset within Creative is designated with a memory value, and the total sum of the assets is tracked at the top of your screen.
How do I play or test my Island?
Open up your settings and choose "My Island." Choose "Start Game" in the GAME tab.
How can I input an Island code?
Walk towards any portal and use the interact button. Input the 12-digit Island code to load the Island at that portal.
I don't have permissions to publish my Island. How do I get these?
At the moment, the Island Publishing features are tied to the Support-A-Creator program. You can apply to the system online at: https://www.epicgames.com/affiliate/overview If you're posting and sharing outstanding Creative builds online and getting positive feedback and attention on places like Reddit, it's also possible that you'll be contacted by Epic Games directly about getting into the Support-A-Creator program.
How do I publish my Island?
Once you've been approved for Island Publishing, you'll find a new button labeled "Publish" in My Island > Island Tools. From there, you'll be able to title your Island, add a description, and attach a video to link so you can show off your Island online.
How do I share my Island with other people?
After publishing an Island, you will be given a 12-digit Island code that can be shared with friends.

Which platform(s) can I play Fortnite Save the World on?

Apple is preventing us from signing games for distribution on Mac, which ends our ability to develop and offer Fortnite Save the World for the platform. As a result, Fortnite Save the World is no longer playable on Mac.
If I buy Save the World on PC, can I play it on other platforms without repurchasing?
Yes! In order to do this, you must link your non-PC accounts to your Epic ID.
Can I still purchase a Founder's Pack?
No, the Save the World Founder's Packs have been retired. However, you can still gain access to Save the World by purchasing a Save the World Pack, which you can find on our website, inside Fortnite, or on your console's storefront.
I'm having some trouble with my Save the World Pack purchase. What do I do?

Yes. As long as you've linked your platform account(s) to your Epic Games account, all purchased content is present and all progress is recorded across all supported platforms. Important: If you have progress or cosmetics on your PlayStation Network or Xbox account, then attempt to link it to an Epic Games account with existing progress or cosmetics, your PlayStation Network or Xbox account will be overwritten. To prevent this from happening, we recommend linking your console account to an Epic Games account when you begin playing Fortnite on your console.
Can I party up with friends on other platforms?
Yes, as long as you've linked your platform account to your Epic Games account, you can crossplay with players on all other supported platforms as long as they're playing on the same Fortnite version. Fortnite on iOS, Mac, and Google Play remains on version 13.40, as Apple and Google have blocked access to Fortnite updates on these platforms.
How do I squad up with friends on other platforms?
- Link your platform account(s) to your Epic Games account.
- Download Fortnite on your preferred device(s).
- Add your friends from within the Epic Games Launcher or within the game itself on PC/Mac, mobile, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.

How do I unlock Save the World (STW) content in Battle Breakers (BB)?
Complete the following actions in STW and then redeem the Hero by launching BB, completing the tutorial, and clicking the gift box icon on the right side of the world map.
- Complete the "Shoot for the High Score!" quest in STW to unlock Jess in BB.
- Complete the "Climbing the Leaderboard!" quest in STW to unlock Kyle.
- All existing STW Founders have been granted Ramirez in BB.
To unlock Battle Breakers (BB) content in Save the World (STW):
Get to account level 20 in BB to unlock the Ninja-Class Hero Razor in STW.
